Biggest Trends at the 2015 SAG Awards: Regal Purple Gowns, Thigh-High Slits, Plunging Necklines & More

We at the end of the day put on our trendspotter goggles as stars hit the 2015 SAG Awards celebrity central and discovered no lack of articulation making looks.

In the first place on our radar were dazzling illustrious purple outfits, as worn to flawlessness by Camila Alves, Keira Knightley and Elizabeth Rodriguez. Camila’s Donna Karan Atelier gave simply the perfect sum va-boom, while the dress’ smooth surface and profound plum color added an announcement turn to the look. Keira Knightley’s layered Erdem dress with a sheer figment neck area accentuated the on-screen character’s little child knock and gleaming composition. What’s more Elizabeth Rodriguez’s sweet one-shoulder number was the ideal pop of shade in the midst of the ocean of dark, white and red on the SAG Awards celebrity main street.

An alternate look to crave? Sheer overlay outfits, which stars including Sarah Hyland, Emma Stone and Emmy Rossum wore on celebrity central. While Sarah’s custom Vera Wang gown wasn’t our most loved look of the night, we did admire the skirt’s difference to her gem adorned bodice. Emma’s tuxedo-style Dior outfit demonstrated that a basic menswear-gone-provocative look can take the spotlight amid honors season.

Be still our hearts: Emmy’s stunning Armani Privé outfit demonstrated that sheer overlay dresses are not just chic, yet ageless to boot.

Cleavage was unmistakably in at the 2015 SAG Awards, with Julia Roberts, Maggie Gyllenhaal, and Jennifer Aniston only three of numerous who took the dive. The low-neck area look is provocative without being exaggerated, which is the reason its a pattern we hope to see on the ascent for the recompenses shows to come this season.

No shoulder straps, no issue! Felicity Jones (in Balenciaga), Alysia Reiner (in Christian Siriano) and Emilia Clarke (in Donna Karan Atelier) all demonstrated that simply a touch of décolletage can have all the effect.

Bridle outfits were a significant pattern at the 2015 Golden Globes, however at this show, stars uplifted the look with hot key-gap neck areas (à la Viola Davis in a custom Max Mara sugary treat), sudden turns (see Claire Danes’ Marc Jacobs number) and bow-enhanced straps (Exhibit An: Andrea Riseborough’s Escada outfit)

We never met an one-shoulder outfit we didn’t prefer: Case in point, Reese Witherspoon’s staggering custom Giorgio Armani sweet (not just one-shoulder, yet one-sleeve as well), Sofía Vergara’s bend embracing Donna Karan Atelier number and Natalie Dormer’s perfect botanical and-white Naeem Khan dress.

It’s grants show season, so clearly there will be a few genuine gam-activity on the rug (#neverforget Angelina Jolie’s correct leg). Today we couldn’t take our eyes off provocative thigh-high openings, whether it was Sophia Bush in a tomato-shaded Vivienne Westwood dress, Julianna Margulies in a surging Giambattista Valli Couture outfit or Irish performing artist Caitriona Balfe in a tangerine-colored sugary treat.

Single word to depict all the 3-D appliqué activity on the 2015 SAG Awards celebrity central: Glam-or-ous. Julie Bowen (in Georges Hobeika) and Julianne Moore (in Givenchy) not just made the best dressed cut, yet their appliqué-beautified outfits were eye-getting (and desire commendable) style  explanations. Paula Patton wore a multifaceted Ayesha sugary treat (and provided for us genuine arm-jealousy while she was busy.

Slicked, straight bolts managed celebrity central, with stars like Sofía Vergara, Emilia Clarke and Maria Menounos wearing the smooth style to counterbalance their high-show outfits.

We discovered an alternate significant hair slant in the smooth, low-hung braid, as seen on Emma Stone, Julianna Margulies and Reese Witherspoon. Straightforward, downplayed and simple to-reproduce, this may be the look we shake to our next recompenses show review party.

We will be happy to hear your thoughts
